This month’s show is recorded live from Hacienda La Dicha in Popayan, Colombia. Big thanks to all the promoters for making my recent trip to Colombia a very memorable one. Then stick around for hour two for an exclusive guest mix by legendary Japanese producer Satoshi Fumi.

Based in Tokyo, Satoshi has an astonishing body of work in his discography, working with labels such as Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Plastic City, and Apt Int’l. He describes his own style as “Deep Tech House”.

During the 1990′s, he grew interested in the Detroit, Chicago, and New York House movements. He absorbed and digested the different sounds of electronic music throughout that period, helping him to shape, develop and influence his own unique style.

These days, he runs his own labels Sequent:Recordings and Outerspace Records (with Osamu M). He also features cutting-edge tracks on Outerspace every 4th Tuesday on Proton Radio.
