Perspectives Digital‘s first release of the year comes from Alessandro Diga, an up-and-coming artist in the Dutch music scene. Having already released on established labels such as Outside The Box, Manual Music, and Proton, Alessandro is only expected to continue moving forward in 2012.

His latest EP features two compelling compositions representing both light and dark sides of the imagination. True to its name, Nostalgia is playful and carefree with a melody that carries an almost child-like innocence. On the opposite side of the spectrum is End Of This Road with its somber, melancholic, and more serious tone.

Cid Inc‘s Replug imprint grew immensely over the course of 2011, with 10 releases that included outstanding productions from: Nick Muir, Jamie Stevens, Deepfunk, Juan Deminicis, Alex & Filip, and of course Cid Inc.

As 2011 drew to a close, Darin Epsilon has become one of the most in demand DJs in North America. His Perspectives radio show just celebrated its five year anniversary and his ‘Metamorph’ release on Mesmeric would have to be one of the top new school progressive house releases of 2011.

For Replug‘s first release of 2012 and 20th overall we see Darin making his debut on the label with his ‘Bahamut’ single which comes with remixes from Fiord and Cid Inc.

Remix for Nueva Digital OUT NOW on Beatport

Arguably one of Nueva Digital‘s most anticipated releases since its inception a year and half ago, Fusion F & Come T‘s ‘Blue River’, along with high profile remixes from Jody Wisternoff, Darin Epsilon, and Luke Fair, is poised to be in your top 10 for a long time.

Let’s get to it, shall we? If you remember Fusion F & Come T‘s last contribution to Nueva (‘Begin Now’), this original is no less a progressive masterpiece, and we don’t throw those praises out lightly. ‘Blue River’ infuses an early night sound with a melodic Ibiza undertone. Then the soft wood tones take over making this one of the grooviest Nueva releases in recent memory. What kills us is the melancholic melody added later and then again when everything seamlessly congregates in one grand epicenter of music!

How do you introduce this next artist without doing him justice? When you can say Jody Wistenoff is involved with anything, from in person to the productions, to his live sets…count yourself lucky! Nueva is extremely proud to be involved with such a class act as he gives ‘Blue River’ his best ‘Cold Drink, Hot Girl’ treatment and creates an instant classic.

One of the U.S.’s best exports, Darin Epsilon continues to raise the bar for himself as he produces another fine piece of music for Nueva. His remix is decidedly more 3am than 11pm and we quite like that, making this a superb track through and through!

If you can believe it, Nueva is proud to debut another legend in his own right and personal progressive hero of ours in Canadian Luke Fair. Taking ‘Blue River’ into deep house territory he churns out a percussion adventure with fantastically well placed string stabs giving this release truly something for everyone!
